While Apple generally overdelivers on the hype, it rarely does so on its web site. Few words, large pics and wide open spaces give you the feel of the Web version of a New York penthouse.
What the hell is wrong with travel sites? Why is it that so many other sites that came after them could think of a good name that happened to have a domain name available? I mean, c’mon!
My new favorite web site is the one for HEMA department store. If you’ve never heard of it, then you mostly likely haven’t been to Holland. It’s the Dutch version of Kohls or maybe Target.
Yeah, yeah. It seems obvious that I would choose the most visited site in the world. But don’t be so cynical. It could be a whole lot worse. I could have chosen AOL.
